[FAQ] Limit the listing levels

Post by admin » Fri Aug 09, 2013 5:48 pm

Is there a way to let Directory Lister Pro make a 1 level only list of folders only in a directory so it will only list something like this.
So the list would be:
C:\PerfLogs
C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files (x86)
C:\Removable Disk
C:\Users
C:\Windows

I want to list folders only at a certain level and I don't what to show anything after that?
Yes, this is possible. You have two options here both located on the “Behavior” page:
1) Limit recursion level – this will go only to the level you enter when traversing directories
2) Limit display level – this will traverse all the levels deep, but will display only to the level you enter.
The main difference is the first option will count files and sizes up to the level specified and the second one will count files and sizes for all subfolders, but will not display them all.
