I have a FTP server for my woodworking friends and would like to create a listing with new content, e,g, changes. I see where I can filter by date but this requires that I manually select the date (bad for me) plus when I create the list (I've been using HTML as my output file) it is a problem for me to include the darn date (another manual effort). The manual changes ensure that I'd screw it up and make a lot of mistakes. I'd like to have the ability to setup an automatic run (I already do this for the entire FTP site) that would generate a list of new items since the last run and create a HTML file with just the changes. Thus I need to automatically pass to DLP the date of the last run (this would be the "After" field) with the "Creation" option selected. DLP needs to save the current date time stamp, this will become the "After" date for the next run. In the output filename I'd like to include the "After" and "time of run" timestamp in the filename so I'd get something like "WoodWorking FTP Site Changes between yyyy-mm-dd HH-MM-SS and YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS". Also I'd like to have the filename just created in the title of the report.
Optionally if there are no updates, e.g. DLP has no results then no file is created and the "After" date reverts back to become the next after date. Following is a few filenames as an example
WoodWorking FTP Site Changes between 2011-12-26 20-15-07 and 2011-12-27 20-15-07
WoodWorking FTP Site Changes between 2011-12-27 20-15-07 and 2012-01-15 20-15-07
WoodWorking FTP Site Changes between 2012-01-15 20-15-07 and 2012-01-22 20-15-07
For the above
In the task scheduler I've created a task for DLP that runs daily at 20-15-07 hours.
The 1st filename suggest that there were changes in 2011 and between the days 12-26 and 12-27
The 2nd filename suggest that there were no changes after 2011-12-27 until 2012-01-15
The 3rd filename suggest that there were no changes after 2012-01-15 until 2012-01-22
