Backup Dwarf is intended to be used to backup documents, projects, office files etc, and is not intended to backup whole drives. Actually there is usually little sense to do so because you wouldn't be able to do it very frequently. So when you would restore your important files they would be very outdated. So Backup Dwarf concentrates on what's really important - you can schedule your backups on a daily basis, so in case of a crash you would get your very latest versions of your files. So in summary the 4GB limit is really hard to reach under these conditions. But still, there is a roadmap for Backup Dwarf which says there will be no limit in v1.5, so stay tuned if you really want it.
